Reading- segmenting, substitutions
        - sight word I, a, we, is, the, said, can, to, like, my
          It, for, where- digraphs (sh, th, ch, wh),
         vowel team ea, ee, ou, ow, blends st, bl
        -guided reading, fluency, beginning, middle, end
        -concepts of print, reading buddies, storybook
        reading, rereading using a storyteller voice,
        retelling, 1-1 correspondence (one tap per
        word-even kryptonite words) pattern power,
        memory power, partner book introductions,
        partner strategies, partners as teachers,
        reading mat (easy-more challenging)
  Math- simple addition, writing numerals, Ten Frames.
       Identifying numerals through games, number
       word before/after, counting backwards
       10-1 and 17-1, counting by 10’s and by 1’s to 100,
       finger patterns 1-20, quick images
        math skill work, decomposing numbers using
        games.
Writing- K-Daily News, adding to pictures and words,

Thank you so much for sending in winter clothing for students everyday.  It is so helpful for everyone to have what they need when 19 are getting ready to go outside.
